The halfway mark

Today I hit the half way mark. Three months down, three more to go. It's been an adventure with a fair share of ups and downs. I am grateful for having this opportunity to reach out to others and develop myself in the process.

Yesterday also brought some bad news. The first case of Ebola was confirmed in Senegal, which borders the Gambia on all sides. This is worrying, as it is coming really close now. 

Right now I really miss my friends and family, they are so far away. I would also give my left foot for a whole wheat sandwich with Dutch cheese or some good Mexican food.
